The Heiligenblut - Grossglockner ski area, the 'Top of Austria', offers outstanding skiing far from the madding crowds!
50 km of immaculate ski runs and many south-facing slopes!
The local cross-country skiing track is not very long, but therefore charming. It takes skiers across a lovely, snow-covered winter wonderland - ranging from vast, level terrain down in the valley to romantic, young and old spruce forests.
In winter experienced skiers may leave the ski run and take the direct route to our hotel.
Please note that this short-cut is only suitable for skilled off-piste skiers. The hotel may not be held responsible in any way for any injuries sustained from using this route.
The ski bus stops in front of the hotel and operates twice in the morning. In addition, we offer transportation with our private ski shuttle.
Relax on the terrace even in winter! The sheepskin rugs will keep you warm and cozy.
Make sure you get a seat under the fir swag with its large, wood-carved heart and marvel at the breathtaking mountain scenery while trying Rosemarie's homemade "Zirbengeist" schnapps.
When the night falls a thousand lights are turned on to illuminate the large Christmas tree.
Thanks to its illuminated roof Chalet Hotel Senger is easily visible from the distance.
